High Arctic Cruise
Explore the Wild North!

This adventurous voyage will take us from Spitsbergen Island to the eastern shore of Greenland and south to Iceland, discovering places that few people have ever seen. The area is renowned for its rare and spectacular wildlife, including polar bears, narwhal and walrus. This is wilderness at its most extreme and beautiful, with towering cliffs and glaciers in an ever changing landscape above the sea.

This trip is not a gay charter, but rather we will be a small group amongst the other 100 or so passengers on the ship. Therefore, this would be a great trip on which to invite family and friends.

Highlights of this trip include:

  • Explore the Arctic Circle region aboard the comfortable 110-passenger Peregrine Voyager.
  • See seabirds, marine mammals and polar bears during our crossing of the Greenland Sea.
  • Visit an ancient Greenlandic settlement and isolated Inuit community rich in cultural history.
  • Sail by Zodiac along puffin-covered sea cliffs.
  • Explore Iceland's volcanic coast and one of the world's youngest archipelagos.

We don't offer every trip every year, and no departures are currently scheduled for this trip. Our home page will make it easy to locate forthcoming departures of interest.

Travelling Alone?
So are most of the people who travel with us. You do not need to pay extra to travel by yourself. Prices are per-person, and the single supplement applies only if you'd like a room by yourself.

Location: Starts in Longyearbyen, Svalbard, Norway and ends in Reykjavik, Iceland.

Price includes: All shipboard accommodations (see FAQ link for cabin descriptions and prices); All shipboard meals including coffee/tea available 24 hours a day while on board the ship; Local transfer to the ship in Longyearbyen and from the ship in Reykjavik; Expedition leaders and lecturers; All shore excursions by Zodiac boat; Lectures, videos, slide and film shows; Resident on-board medical officer.

Not included: Airfare to Longyearbyen (LYR), Svalbard, Norway and from Reykjavik, Iceland (KEF); Visa and passports fees; Airport departure taxes; Additional hotel nights and activities in Norway and/or Iceland; Alcoholic drinks; Personal items such as laundry, telephone calls, and gratuities.
