Classic Tour of Greece
A Walk Through History

For eleven days we will experience the splendor of the Golden Age of Greek Civilization. Starting in Athens, we'll visit the Parthenon, the iconic structure overlooking the city, we'll explore the National Museum, and stroll through the Plaka. From there our journey takes us west to the Peloponnese peninsula and the legendary cities of Mycenae and Epidaurus. We'll spend two nights in Nauplia, a charming city perfectly situated on a promontory overlooking the Argolic Gulf. We next visit Olympia, then head to Delphi, arguably one of the most stunning of all the temples in Greece. We conclude our tour with four nights on Crete, a grand island filled with history and charm. Our days there will be a mixture of culture and relaxation, the perfect combination to complete this tour of the Greek Classics.

  • Enjoy a seaside stroll in Nauplia, a lovely port in the Peloponnese.
  • Tour the famous cities of Mycenae and Epidaurus.

  • Walk in Apollo's footsteps at the famous Temple of the Oracle at Delphi.
  • Relax in the lovely city of Chania on the island of Crete.
  • Visit the labyrinth of Knossos, a city alive with the memory of Zeus and mythology.

Travelling Alone?
So are most of the people who travel with us. You do not need to pay extra to travel by yourself. Prices are per-person, and the single supplement applies only if you'd like a room by yourself. For selected trips, especially if the trip includes a cruise, we charge half the single supplement if you request a roommate, but we are not able to match you with someone.

Location: Starts in Athens, and ends in Chania on the island of Crete

Price includes: Group transportation for all destinations within Greece including flight from Athens to Crete; Accommodations each night in accordance with the tour itinerary; Breakfast each day, 5 special dinners and 4 lunches; Entrance fees for sightseeing, accompanied by knowledgeable guides; Transfers from Athens airport to hotel on first day of tour and from Chania hotel to airport for those departing on the final day of tour; All hotel services charges, government taxes, porterage, and gratuities for included meals.

Not included: Transportation to and from starting and ending points; Meals not shown as included; Personal items including: alcoholic beverages, snacks, laundry, and telephone calls; Gratuities for guides.
